The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This results in them few options but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
